Oakley Sunglasses Frustration, injuries add up for Angels in 3-2, 13-inning loss to Padres

By taking two of three from the Angels, Oakley Polarized the Padres had their first winning homestand of the season, going 3-2 against the Dodgers and Angels. It was just their third series win in 14 this season.

“ The frustration of not playing to your potential, Oakley Sunglasses it’ s tough, ” said manager Mike Scioscia, whose Angels dropped into last place in the AL West.

On top of the tough loss, outfielders Vernon Wells and Ryan Langerhans were injured. Scioscia said they are expected to be put on the disabled list.

“ I think a loss like this is frustrating, ” Scioscia said. Oakley Holbrook “ We did some things. But we just couldn’ t get the hit to try and close the game out. ”

The Angels were 1 for 14 with runners in scoring position.

“ We had 14 opportunities to get a hit with a guy in scoring position and we get one. That leads to the frustration, ” Scioscia said.

Richard, scheduled to start Monday night at St. Louis, Oakley Frogskins got a pinch-hit single to left with two outs in the 13th off David Pauley (0-1). Will Venable followed with a single to left-center. Kendrick bobbled the ball for an error, allowing Richard to score standing up.

Rookie Miles Mikolas (1-1) pitched two perfect innings for his first big league win.

The Padres wasted pinch-hitter John Baker’ s leadoff double in the unusual 11th inning.

Baker doubled over the head of left fielder Langerhans, Oakley Radar who hurt his right shoulder when he stumbled and fell into the wall. Langerhans’ injury forced Scioscia to make five defensive changes, including moving Albert Pujols from first base to third and Kendrick from second base to left field.

With Cameron Maybin up, Oakley Flak Jacket the Angels brought Kendrick back to second base in a drawn-in, five-man infield, leaving left field vacant. Maybin took a called third strike from rookie David Carpenter.

Kendrick had to switch gloves three times in the inning: when he went from second to left, when he came into the five-man infield against Maybin and for the last out when he went back to left.

Chase Headley grounded to third to end the inning.

Headley popped up to short to end the ninth with Maybin on third. Maybin walked with two outs against Ernesto Frieri, Oakley Jawbone who was traded from the Padres to the Angels on May 3, stole second and took third when catcher Bobby Wilson’ s throw sailed into center field.

The Angels loaded the bases against Brad Brach with one out in the 10th but failed to score. Mike Trout beat out an infield single for his third hit and Brach walked Albert Pujols and Mark Trumbo with one out. Howard Kendrick struck out and Peter Bourjos forced Trumbo at second to end the threat.

San Diego’ s Yonder Alonso doubled twice, Oakley Juliet walked twice and drove in two runs.

Angels starter Ervin Santana, Oakley M Frame trying to win his third straight start, took a 2-0 lead into the fifth before the Padres tied it, leaving him with a no-decision.
